Town Walking Guides consists of a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable local people offering free tours of the Town. Based at the tourist Information Centre in the Market Place the tours highlight the many listed buildings and recall the famous people and events that have shaped the historic town of Ashbourne. Lasting up to one and a half hours the walks are informative, interesting and entertaining. Booking is essential as the days and times vary throughout the year. The service is provided by the Ashbourne Partnership with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Private walks and tours reflecting special interests can be arranged for groups and schools.
