The Mayor, Cllr Sandra Spencers Charity Halloween Fancy Dress Ball. All proceeds to the Mayor’s Charity ‘Help for Heroes’.
Spooktacular evening will include a best decorated pumpkin competition, Disco, Bar, Raffle plus a Pie and Pea Supper.

There is no pre-registration, and all runners must register on the day of the run from 9am Entry is £5 per runner except for under-14s at
£3. Car parking will not be charged.
The Dovedale Dash is a cross country race of 4¾ miles. The venue is the picturesque area around the village of Thorpe and Dovedale,
near Ashbourne. Plus a Children’s race of 1¼ miles for the under 8′s and 10′s.

2^nd November - Ashbourne Animal Welfare Christmas Shopping Open Day at The Ark, Wyaston Rd, Ashbourne. 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lots of super gifts to buy for presents and by shopping at The Ark you help the cats and dogs in care. Christmas cards and 2015 calendar on sale. Free admission.

Join us on the Park for our popular fireworks night. A memorable evening is assured with the traditional fun fair rides on the car park for all ages, including food, culminating with a fantastic 30 minute aerial firework extravaganza.

The evening starts at 6.30pm with the firework display at 7.45pm.

Join us at 5.00pm on the Market Place for the Annual Christmas Tree & Lights Switch on at 6.00pm. Further details will be announced in due course but St Oswald’s School will be providing some seasonal singing and of course Santa Claus will be on hand! Family night with a festive atmosphere, bring the kids to see Santa!
