Ashbourne Memorial Gardens are dedicated to those who died for their country.
This town-centre feature, off Park Road, backs on to a park where there are playing fields and space for ball games. A statue commemorates the life of Catherine Booth, co-founder of the Salvation Army, who was born in the town.
