If travelling from north or south, exit the M1 at junction 24, or the M6 at junction 15. From Buxton or Litchfield follow the A515. From Derby or Stoke follow the A52.

By public transport
The nearest main line train stations are Derby, Uttoxeter and Buxton, from where there are regular bus services to Ashbourne.
