Our Ancestors in World War 1 Exhibition @ Ashbourne Library

Ashbourne U3A Family History Group present the exhibition, Our Ancestors in World War 1.

Ashbourne U3A Family History Group have been tracing their WW1 ancestors and they are a very fascinating, diverse group. Ranging from soldiers, British, Commonwealth and German to seamen and nurses and even a lady who made cigarettes. The exhibition also features medals and memorabilia.

Ashbourne Library open times:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9am – 5pm
Tuesday, Friday: 9am – 7pm
Saturday: 9am – 1pm
Sunday: Closed

What do you like doing that could help others in your community?

Earn time by helping and sharing time and skills with a member in your community and then spend that time on something you would like help with or maybe you would like to learn something new? 1 hour = 1 hour.

Exchanges can include gardening, computer skills, cooking, sewing, basic DIY, dog walking, music lessons…

Dan’s Dancing Devils – New Beginners Linedancing Class @ The Venue

New beginners linedancing class every Wednesday (except the second Wednesday of every month).

Beginners 7 – 8pm

Improves/Intermediates 8 – 9pm

Everybody is welcome even if you’ve never done it before. Come and learn in a fun, easy going and relaxed class, dancing to all kinds of music from soul to rock&roll, country to pop and Irish to 80’s.

£5.00 on the door, please bring refreshments.
