Hillcrest House is a former 19th Century coaching inn on the road into Dovedale. It was originally called the Dovedale Hotel and provided lodging, refreshments and a change of horse to coaches on their way. It is now run as a private family guest house by local couple, Dan and Margaret Sutton who continue the traditions of yesteryear, (except for the horses!) We have a reception area, residents lounge and dining room. All are tastefully furnished, in keeping with the character of this friendly and warm atmosphere home, from our lounge and bedrooms are fabulous views of the surrounding area.
